“Working in partnership to influence and transform health and social care”
The Voluntary and Community Sector Alliance (VCSA) works across Bradford District and Craven, and has been developed by the local Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) to become an equal partner in the Integrated Care System, alongside other key local health, social care, and support providers.
To deliver this; providers in health, social care, and support services have come together to form the Bradford Provider Alliance (BPA) and the Airedale Providers Alliance Group (APAG). The VCSA manages VCS Representation on different Partnership Groups associated with Health and Social Care, and co-ordinates the local Voluntary and Community Sector to deliver different Health and Social Care projects across the Bradford District and Craven.

📣 The VCS Alliance is recruiting VCSE Sector Advocates to represent our sector in the health system.
We aim to recruit skilled advocates from diverse VCSE organisations across Bradford District and Craven to help inform the BDC Health and Care Partnership and ease the pressure on health and social care services.
Advocates are needed in three key areas:
- Children, Young People, and Families (up to 3 advocates)
- Healthy Minds (up to 10 advocates)
- Healthy Communities (up to 3 advocates)

The conference is a day dedicated to raising awareness and fostering dialogue around women’s health. They’re bringing together professionals and community voices through a balanced mix of workshops, plenary sessions, and networking opportunities. Each session aims to include elements of lived experience to bring the content to life, ensuring impactful and meaningful discussions.
The conference takes place on Thursday 27 February at Bradford University, Richmond Road, Bradford BD7 1DP
It is free to attend, and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
The full programme will run from 9.15am to 4.45pm (with options to attend for shorter sessions).
